GENESIS BRINGS TEST DRIVES, DEBUTS AND DESIGN−DRIVEN PERFORMANCE TO IAA MOBILITY 2025

Genesis, the luxury vehicle division of South Korean automaker Hyundai, has been making waves in the automotive industry with its innovative and stylish designs. And now, they have taken it a step further with the launch of their enhanced all-electric range, the GV60 Magma Concept, and the GMR-001 Hypercar at the Genesis Studio in Munich, Germany.

The Genesis GV60, the brand’s first all-electric vehicle, has been making headlines since its global debut in October 2021. And now, it is all set to make its German debut at the Genesis Studio in Munich. The GV60 is a perfect blend of luxury, performance, and sustainability, making it a game-changer in the electric vehicle market.

The enhanced GV60 boasts an impressive all-electric range of 480 kilometers, making it one of the longest-range electric vehicles in its segment. This is made possible by the vehicle’s 77.4 kWh battery pack, which can be charged up to 80% in just 18 minutes using a fast-charging station. This means that not only is the GV60 environmentally friendly, but it also offers the convenience and practicality of a traditional gasoline-powered vehicle.

But it’s not just the range that makes the GV60 stand out. The vehicle also features a sleek and modern design, with a low-slung profile and a sloping roofline. The front of the car is dominated by the signature Genesis Crest Grille, giving it a bold and confident look. The interior is equally impressive, with premium materials and advanced technology, including a 14.5-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

The GV60 also comes equipped with the latest safety and driver-assistance features, such as Highway Driving Assist II, which combines adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist to provide a more relaxed and safe driving experience. It also has a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, making it one of the safest electric vehicles on the market.

But that’s not all that Genesis has to offer at the Munich Studio. The brand has also unveiled its GV60 Magma Concept, a more performance-focused version of the GV60. The Magma Concept features a sportier design, with a more aggressive front grille, larger air intakes, and a rear diffuser. It also comes with a more powerful electric motor, producing 576 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

And if that’s not enough to get your heart racing, Genesis has also revealed its GMR-001 Hypercar at the Munich Studio. This limited-edition hypercar is a collaboration between Genesis and Rimac, a Croatian electric hypercar manufacturer. The GMR-001 is powered by four electric motors, producing a mind-boggling 1,341 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque. This allows the car to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h.

The GMR-001 also features a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis and advanced aerodynamics, making it not only incredibly fast but also agile and responsive. Only 300 units of this hypercar will be produced, making it a highly exclusive and sought-after vehicle for car enthusiasts and collectors.

The Genesis Studio in Munich is the perfect place to experience these impressive vehicles up close and personal. The studio offers a unique and immersive experience, allowing customers to explore and interact with the brand’s vehicles and learn more about the brand’s philosophy and vision.
