This season, the renowned Ellerstina squad, with a storied history of triumphs including multiple Argentine Polo Open championships, is supported by Yellow Rose, a club established in 1996 in Punta del Este by Jorge “Corcho” Rodríguez. Rodríguez, along with his partner Vero Lozano and other notable personalities, were present to celebrate this unveiling.
Yellow Rose plays a crucial role in enhancing the global polo scene, with operations spanning Argentina and Uruguay. Since 2021, it has expanded its polo activities in Argentina through a strategic partnership with Ellerstina. Despite Facundo Pieres joining La Natividad this season, the team—comprising Nicolas Pieres, Bautista Bayugar, Gonzalo Pieres, and “Nachi” Du Plessis—boasts an impressive 35-goal handicap. The team is eagerly eyeing victories in the Argentine Triple Crown, which includes prestigious events such as the Hurlingham Open, Tortugas Open, and the Argentine Open Polo Championship.
